Pack 323's one and only annual fundraiser kicks off  September 24th.  Orders are due by October 22nd.

Evergreens Fundraising Instructions

Purpose:

This is Pack 323’s one big fundraiser for the year, and its profits are used to run the Pack. Pack expenses include: leader registration fees and training, newsletter, photocopies, awards such as badges, belt loops, pins, Pinewood Derby kits and trophies, Blue and Gold banquet ceremony, end-of-the-year party, and more.

Our Goal:

Each Scout needs to earn $60 for the Pack by one of the following means:                            

1.       Sell $100 worth of greens (5 or 6 items) Note: Selling less than $100 in greens requires a pro-rated supplemental contribution to meet the goal (i.e. $100 – amount sold x .6 =amount owed to pack).

2.       Contributing $60 to the Pack (if the Scout or parent chooses not to participate in selling greens.

 Dates:

September 24 – Begin offering greens to relatives, friends, neighbors and your parents’

                          co-workers.

October 22 – At October Pack meeting, turn in orders to the greens coordinator for your den,

                      including all order forms (with columns and rows totaled) and money for each

                      item ordered.

Nov. 26-Dec. 3 – Greens delivered to the Pack greens coordinator’s house. Your den will contact 

                           you to pick up your greens that same day.   

How to’s:

*Do not go alone to sell your greens.  Ask a parent of friend to go with you.

*Do not go into anyone’s house. Say, “No, thanks, I’ll wait out here.”

*Explain that all money raised is going to support Pack 323.

*Let the customer put their name, address and phone number on order form.

*All orders must be pre-paid.

*If they buy a gift item, they also need to fill out gift item label and pay.

*All checks should be made out to Pack 323.

*Don’t forget to say, “Thank you” whether they order from you or not.

*When greens are in, your den will contact you to pick them up the same day they arrive. You will 

  receive your original order sheet along with greens. Check to make sure you have the right  

  amount of each item.

*Ask what items we have extra (we have to order whole cases) in case anyone wants to buy 

  more on a first come, first serve basis. 

*Deliver greens to your customers and be sure to thank them again for their support.

*If you cannot deliver the same day, please store greens in a cool shaded spot and mist

  them to keep them fresh.  Deliver as soon as possible.

 Prizes

Scouts who sell $200 or more in greens will receive a Target Gift Card for 5% of the amount of greens sold.  For example: $200 in greens sold = $10 gift card

                                           $300 in greens sold = $15 gift card

                                           $400 in greens sold = $20 gift card

                                           $500 in greens sold = $25 gift card
